MANUFACTURE OF INSULATED PANEL

PURPOSE:To manufacture easily a comparatively large insulated panel which requires no bonding agent to be molded integrally with an outer ply and of good insulation by injecting self-bonding plastic into a closed space encircled with a metallic outer ply and an insulated material molded preliminarily and foaming. CONSTITUTION:An insulating material 12 molded preliminarily is provided, and an outer ply 14 is fixed by pressure tightly on both surfaces of the insulating material 12 with supporting pieces 15-17 inserted in the ply, while self- bonding foamed plastic material such as urethane or the like is injected into a closed space between the outer ply 14 and the insulating material 12 and foamed. The self-bonding foamed plastic material has good bonding properties with either of te insulating material 12 and the outer ply 14, and the injected plastic material is bonded with the insulating material 12, the supporting pieces 15-17 and the outer ply 14 to manufacture an integrated insulated panel 11. The peripheral section of the outer ply 14 is foled into L-shape, and a folded section 23 is hung on the supporting pieces 15 and 16. Said arrangement prevents the supporting pieces 15 and 16 from falling down and the plastic material from leaking generated by the injection pressure of the plastic material.
