The controller maintains the thermal printer head temperature at desired degree with a control pulse due to detected head temperature by head equipped thermister for the clear printed image. The controller comprises a thermal voltage distributive circuit (2) prividing VTH voltage, a reference voltage distributive circuit (3), and a memory (4) containing programs for generating the comparative logic signal for temperature control signals.
