PURPOSE:To obtain the present artificial silk gut having small outer diameter and high tensile strength, resistant to the drag of water stream and to corrosion and suitable for the hooking of sweetfish by using a decoy or fishing in a mountain stream, by applying a resin coating layer to the outer circumference of a thin and rigid strand wire. CONSTITUTION:The objective artificial silk gut is produced by applying a resin coating layer 3 on the outer circumference of a thin and rigid strand wire 2. The strand wire 2 is preferably produced by twisting filaments having an outer diameter of 0.015-0.4mm and selected from piano wire, stainless steel wire, tungsten wire and titanium wire. Preferably, the thickness of the resin coating layer is 1-15mum, the coating layer is made of a fluororesin (e.g., polyvinylidene fluoride) and has double-structure and the layer is incorporated with an inorganic filler and/or pigment. |
