PURPOSE:To obtain a decorative display having a transparency, opacitying properties, and a decorative display function, by a method wherein, a coloring layer and an opacitying layer of a transfer substrate are laid over each other through a hot-melt adhesive layer, and a first coloring layer of the transfer substrate and the opacitying layer are transferred to the transparent coloring layer in a pattern form. CONSTITUTION:A release layer 2 is applied to a transfer substrate 1, and thereon a first coloring layer 3 is formed by printing. After an opacitying layer 4 is formed thereon, a hot-melt adhesive is applied all over, dried, and set to obtain a transfer material A. A second coloring layer 7 is formed on a transparent transfer substrate 6 by a printing method using a transparent coloring ink to obtain a transfer material B. Next, the transfer material A is laid over the second coloring layer 7 of the transfer material B with an adhesive layer 5 disposed downward. Projection parts of a heating metal mold formed in a fine mesh or dot form is depressed down against the substrate 1 of the overlapped transfer material A, the adhesive layer 5 is melted in the mesh or dot form, and the opacitying layer 4 is bonded with the transparent second coloring layer 7. Then, the substrate 1, unbonded opacitying layer 4a and first coloring layer 3a are separated from the transparent transfer substrate 6 to form a decorative display. |
