PURPOSE:To make it possible to facilitate the vertical tilt operation of a drive unit on the outboard side by disposing a tilt switch for controlling the operation of a tilt mechanism, on the outer wall of a part which is on the outboard side of a transom board for an inboard and outboard engine. CONSTITUTION:A gimbal ring 14 is supported rotatably in the lateral direction to a gimbal housing 12 which is secured to a transom board 10, and a swivel bracket 16 is supported to the gimbal ring 14 through the intermediary of a pin 18 so as to be rotatable in the vertical direction. A tilt switch 42 is disposed on the outer wall of the upper part of the gimbal housing 12, a hydraulic cylinder 30 is actuated when the tilt switch 42 is manipulated, thereby a drive unit 22 is vertically tilted. |
