The present invention, characterised by its function of protecting radio broadcast receiving equipment items and their environments, which may be mobile, is based on a system for checking and for recognising the user, itself consisting of three essential points: the existence of a portable module fitted with microcircuits, the digital broadcast of opposition lists via coding of the Didon 3 type and the sending of a distress signal compatible, for example, with the Radiocom 2000 plan. According to diagram 2, the receiver 1 is linked to the national VHF/UHF telephone transfer network 8, which itself is in contact with the central memory computer of the Ministry of the Interior 4 "Management of thefts and losses" by means of a specialised link 9 for recognising and locating indexed systems on opposition lists. The central memory computer 4 of the Ministry of the Interior is in contact with the receiver 1 integrated into a mobile unit or fixed station 2 by means of a digital coder of the Didon 3 type, 6 itself linked to a radio or TV transmitter 3 using national radio network 5: TDF. <IMAGE>
