<p>PURPOSE:To simply attain the elimination of waveform distortion by multiplying a filter function to a Fourier component so as to attain filtering. CONSTITUTION:A function f(x) with a variable domain of a<=x<=b comprising an input data string is transformed into a function g(x) for which the relation g(b)=g(a)=0 holes approximately and the function g(x) is subjected to Fourier integration to calculate the Fourier component G(omega). Then the Fourier component G(omega) subjected to filtering is Fourier inverse transformed to calculated a function gF(x) and the f(x) obtained by replacing the g(x) in the equation for obtaining f(x) from g(x) by gF(x) is calculated as fF(x), and the function fF(x) is used as the filter output. In this way even in the case of f(a)not equal to 0 or f(b)not equal to 0, the waveform distortion of the function f(x) is eliminated without newly deforming the waveform near x=a and b.</p> |
