<p>PURPOSE:To aim at compacting the entire mechanism by assembling a control lever, a relay lever, an output link and a steering ratio control motor which constitute a steering ratio control mechanism, as one unit, to a base board. CONSTITUTION:A steering ratio control mechanism A incorporates a control lever 30 which is rotatably supported to a base board 61 secured to a vehicle body by means of a support shaft 23 and a relay lever 65 which is rotatably supported to the base board 61 by a support shaft 62. The coupling pin 68 is freely rotatably supported to the relay lever 65, and securely supports an output link 27 and a sprocket 67. The support shaft 62 for the relay lever 65 supports the latter freely rotatably, and further, securely supports a sprocket 70 and a gear 64 which is meshed with a worm shaft 63 of a steering angle ratio control motor 18.</p> |
