PURPOSE:To prevent trailing of images even in operations under high humidity for a long time and to enable stable copying of characters by using a BCN:H film for a surface protective layer to be formed on a photosensitive layer formed on a conductive substrate. CONSTITUTION:The BCN:H film is transparent in the wavelength region of 2,000-10,000nm and hard and highly insulating, and has refractive index of 1.3-1.6, and it is small in surface reactivity under high humidity because of the absence of Si in the film and stable in structure. It is used for the surface protective layer 15 of the photosensitive layer 14 formed on a blocking layer 13 on the conductive substrate 12 of a photosensitive body 11, thus permitting trailing of images to be prevented even during operations under high humidity for a long time and stable copying of characters to be continued. |
