The subject of the invention relates to a device intended for automating the collection and distribution of dry-cleaned or laundered articles. It consists of a novel application of a endless conveyor 8 preferably oblong in shape with a suspension rack 4 on which circulate continuous, articulated or separate elements carrying coat hangers having electronic translation control with a selector microprocessor 11 limiting the displacement for the positioning of the selected coat hanger in front of the extraction aperture.
