<p>PURPOSE: To extremely facilitate the forwarding plans and useful life surveys of containers by reading the specific codes provided on the containers with code reading means installed at individual airports, and controlling the containers with a control means. CONSTITUTION: Plates printed with specific bar codes are fitted to airplane containers. Airport systems 2, 2'... reading the bar codes with bar code readers 24 for control are provided at airports A, A'..., and they are connected to a centralized control center 1 via telephone lines 3. The bar codes read by the airport systems 2, 2'... are temporarily stored in the bar code readers 24 then sent to the center 1, container forwarding plans and useful life surveys are made there, and necessary information is sent back and displayed on displays 22 and outputted from printers 23. The states of the containers existing at individual airports A, A'... are grasped, and corresponding controls can be accurately made.</p> |
