<p>PURPOSE: To attain reduction the number of part items, and uniform strength by positioning the connection point between a down frame and a lower frame on the vehicle rearward side from the midpoint of the lower frame, and supporting an arm for bearing a front wheel at a front frame constituted of a die forming part. CONSTITUTION: A front cage 1 is formed into a cage shape, involving an upper frame 3 at the upper part of a vehicle, a lower frame 4 at its lower part, a front frame 5 for connecting respective front end parts, a main frame 6 at its rear end part, and a down frame 7 for connecting the front and lower frames 5, 4. The front frame 5 is formed out of a molded part, the connection point of the down frame 7 and the lower frame 4 is positioned on the vehicle rearward side from the midpoint of the lower frame 4, and an arm for bearing a front wheel is supported on the front frame 5. It is thus possible to attain reduction in the number of part items, and uniform strength in the frame structure without increasing the number of part items.</p> |
