PURPOSE:To improve control response in the suspension unit in the caption for controlling a vehicle position by damping a signal corresponding to a rolling or a pitching at a frequency higher than a predetermined one, so as to output it to a position control means when a detected operating condition is expected to generate an acceleration. CONSTITUTION:A rolling displacement quantity or a pitching displacement quantity is computed by a mode transformation means M4 according to the displacement of each wheel M1 which is detected by a displacement detection means M3, and a drive condition is computed by a drive condition detection means M6. An output signal from the mode transformation means M4 is damped at a predetermined frequency by a damping means M7, so as to be outputted to a position control means M5. At this time, when the drive condition detected by the drive condition detection means M6 generates an acceleration, the output signal from the mode transformation means M4 is damped at a frequency higher than the predetermined one so as to be outputted to the position control means M5. In this structure, the response to a position control at a rolling or a pitching can be improved. |
