PURPOSE:To realize an actively CMOS/TTL-compatible CMOS-IC by using an input signal as the control signal of a switching circuit, turning the input signal on, inputting it to the gate of each FET, and extracting an output signal from a drain of each n-channel type MOSFET. CONSTITUTION:An inverter 4 to make the input signal into an input and its output are connected to the gates of the pMOSFET of transmission gates T2 and T3, the input signal is connected to the gates of the nMOSFET of the transmission gates T2 and T3, and a switching circuit 3 is composed. When the input signal is at an 'L' level, the MOSFETs of the (p) and (n) of the transmission gates T2 and T3 are both turned on, and switches are both made into an on-condition. Consequently, the input buffer of a CMOS-compatible interface is made. When the input signal is at an 'H' level, the MOSFETs of the (p) and (n) of the transmission gates T2 and T3 are both turned off, and the switches are both made into an off-condition. Consequently, a TTL- compatible input buffer is made. |
