The water is charged into inner hollow part (1") of the roller (1) to prevent the vibration during polishing the surface of the roller. After immersing and heating the roller in water tank, seperated picture films are attached on the surface of the roller and the roller is corroded to form the pattern. The colour starch tank (14) having a number of holes (4') on the bottom provides the starch to the pattern roller positioned at the stand of the gravure printer so that the printing is performed continuously. The circumference of the pattern roller is pref. in 1700-2500mm.
