PURPOSE:To prevent beforehand the abrasion and cutting of a wire rope due to the shift of a cutting member by forming the cutting member by integrally fixing a cutting part onto the outside of a metal cylindrical body which is longer than the cutting part and fixing the wire rope in penetration through the cylindrical body. CONSTITUTION:A cutting member 15 is equipped with a metal cylindrical body 16 made of soft steel, etc., and a cutting part 17 which is formed as integral body in sintering on the outside of the center part of the cylindrical body 16 and consists of the sintered alloy containing diamond powder. The cylindrical body 16 extends long on the both sides from the cutting part 17, and a wire rope 11 is allowed to penetrate into the cylindrical body 16 before the wire rope 11 is formed into an annular form, and said rope 11 is fixed at a soldered part 18. The connection parts 13 of the strands 12 of this rope 11 are arranged at the positions where different cutting members 15 are installed, and the wire rope 1 is made endless. Therefore, the abrasion of the wire rope 11 due to the shift of the cutting member 15 during the cutting of a stone material can be prevented beforehand by fixing the cutting member 15 onto the wire rope 11, and the service life can be prolonged. |
