PURPOSE: To facilitate maintenance and to simply replace a used strip by extending a polytetrafluoroethylene strip in the longitudinal direction of a welding bar and attaching a roll in a movable manner so as to exceed both ends of the welding bar on the axis traversing the welding bar to extend. CONSTITUTION: A polytetrafluoroethylene strip 25 is wound around rolls 30, 31 and both ends of a welding bar are attached to fork-shaped brackets 32, 33 to extend laterally. The fork-shaped brackets 32, 33 are connected to a lower welding jaw 21 by screws. Taking-up rolls 30, 31 are driven according to the motion of welding jaws 20, 21 and the polytetrafluoroethylene strip 25 is intermittently moved along the welding bars 22, 23 as the consumption of the strip. Since the rolls 30, 31 are arranged so as to exceed both ends of the welding jaws 20, 21, the rolls can approach easily and can be easily maintained to be replaced. |
