PURPOSE:To obtain the title radiant tube burner of low NOX by lowering the temperature of a flame in a primary combustion region and performing a low air ratio combustion in a secondary combustion region. CONSTITUTION:A large quantity of combustion air corresponding to the total quantity of combustion air injected into a primary combustion chamber 6 and a small quantity of a primary fuel which is a part of a fuel are rapidly mixed, and the mixed fuel burns under a high air ratio at a high load to form a flame which reaches an outlet of a primary combustion chamber 6 within a furnace 14 from the bank of a radiant tube 1 and to cause a secondary combustion of a low air ratio between the combustion air and a secondary fuel fed into the radiant tube 1. Accordingly, the temperature of a flame is low in the primary combustion region and a low air ratio combustion is performed in the secondary combustion region, and hence the quantity of generated NOX can be suppressed to a low value as a whole. Further, since a primary fuel nozzle 4 is located out of a combustion gas discharge route and a second fuel nozzle 7 is encircled by a refractory material 17, the combustion nozzles 4 and 7 are prevented from burning or the fuel is prevented from coking. |
