PURPOSE:To secure lighting, improve the sound insulation, and make easy the installation and fixing by providing an outdoor unit at the rear end and lower section of an indoor unit, installing an indoor heat exchanger as well as outdoor heat exchanger and compressor and providing the side wall of the outdoor unit with a support and providing the indoor unit with a fixing device. CONSTITUTION:A board indoor unit 2 and a deep outdoor unit 3 are connected in an L-shape, and a support 27 which abuts the side wall of the outdoor unit 3 and adjust the degree of projection and receding and fixing device 19 at the lower section of the indoor unit 2 are provided. With this arrangement not only the lighting is secured, but also it becomes unnecessary to adjust the relation of joining the indoor unit 2 and outdoor unit 3 according to the thickness of a window or wall where they are installed, and because the wall of a house is used for sound insulation, the sound insulation to outside sounds becomes good, and it is possible to lead the drain water generated in an evaporator 14 to the outside of the room by the difference of height. And it is easy to install and fix the machine with a fixing device 19 and support 27 even if the lower frame of a window projects to the inside and/or outside of the room. |
