For a cabinet (which can be closed by means of a door) of an electrical installation having a functional group which can be displaced therein, it being possible to lock the door in its operating position and its test position, a push-button switch is provided for switching control of the functional group in both positions. This push-button switch (11) is distinguished by the fact that its operating device (13) is surrounded by a rotating device (14) and is arranged such that it can be displaced along the longitudinal axis therein, that the operating device is rotated with and by the rotating device during its rotation, and that the operating device has a plunger (15) at its end projecting into the interior of the cabinet and is additionally connected in an articulated manner to an extension plunger (16). When the rotating device is in a first position, this extension plunger is swung out about a hinge axis (20) and switching control of the functional group, which is in its test position, can be completed by means of the plunger end of the operating device. When the rotating device is in a second position, in contrast, the extension plunger is held in a position which is coaxial with respect to the operating device, and the switching control of the functional group, which is in its operating position, can be carried out by means of the extension plunger. <IMAGE>
