In the case of a film keyboard having a film which closes the surface of the keyboard in a sealed manner and under which electrical contacts are arranged on predetermined regions, which contacts can be operated by exerting pressure on these regions of the film, in order to achieve a relatively large operating movement, caps are arranged on the film, which caps are domed upwards from the film above the predetermined regions, consist of elastic material and have in the interior a central plunger which is directed onto the film and whose longitudinal axis runs at right angles to the plane of the film. In the event of the domed part of the respective cap being deformed, this plunger is pressed onto the film and deforms said film over a distance which corresponds to the operation of the electrical contact.
