PURPOSE: To protect a buckle from its accidental opening by preferably comprising a latch element with a locking hollow and a body with a lock pin, and snap-fixing the lock pin into the locking hollow on pivoting the latch element to close the buckle. CONSTITUTION: A latch element 14 has locking hollows 60, 62 along its respective sidewalls 42, 44, and a body 12 has lock pins 64, 66 on each side 28, 30, respectively. On pivoting latch element 14 to close a buckle 10, the lock pins 64, 66 slide on the side edge 42, 44 and are snap-fixed certainly into the locking hollows 60, 62. In comparison with a safety means like small locking interval between the sidewall 42, 44 of the latch element 14 and side 28, 30 of the body 12, the buckle acts tightly to the lock pins 64, 66 to snap each other, to prevent accidental opening of the buckle 10 to improve safety. |
