A mesh filter for display terminals, especially television screens, is used to improve picture quality and reduce electro-static fields. The filter consists of a multi-piece frame 1 glued to a fine meshed and electrically conductive mesh 2. The frame 1 comprises several separate pieces spaced apart around the mesh 2. Each piece is individually attachable to the display terminal. Since the frame 1 is divided the filter may be folded providing for reduced packaging and handling costs. It also simplifies the fixing of the filter to the display terminal. <IMAGE>
