A barrel liner (3) for large-calibre shooting weapons is proposed having a holding part at the cartridge-chamber end and having an adjusting bush (4) at the muzzle end, the adjusting bush having an axial stepped hole (5,6) whose narrower diameter is slightly larger than the external diameter of the barrel liner (3), so that an interference fit (7) is produced, the adjusting bush (4) being firmly connected to the barrel liner at one end on the side of the further hole section (6), so that the adjustment of the barrel liner (3) obtained by bending of the barrel liner end is maintained despite thermal expansion. <IMAGE>
