The casing (7) is tightened to the table (4) via a centring projection (8) on its underface which enters one of the tightening grooves (5). Two coaxial cylindrical push rods (12,13) slide in opposed directions in the casing and are telescopically interlocked by their interior ends (12a,13a). There is a rack bar (14,16) on each rod which is parallel to its axis gears. One of two identical diameter pinions (17,18) is rotatingly mounted in the casing and connected to the other pinion. A self blocking positioning drive operates in two directions to attack one of the rods or one of the pinions.
