The steam turbine contains a rotor (1) having wheels (2), an inner housing (4), which surrounds at least some of the wheels (2), and an outer housing (9) which surrounds the inner housing (4). A nozzle box (7) for the steam supply is mounted in the inner housing (4). The turbine also contains a valve chest (16) for controlling the steam supply, which is installed between the outer housing (9) and the inner housing (4).
