The invention relates to a roller mill in which a feeding apparatus for the material to be ground, having at least one feeding element opening above the grinding gap, is provided above the grinding gap of a pair of grinding rollers. In order to provide a particularly even and controllable delivering of the material to be ground to the grinding gap, the feeding element is formed by a tubular slide which is inclined at least in its lower longitudinal section and the opening end of which can be fixed with respect to the grinding gap.
