<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a low cost and good external appearance of golf ball, by mixing a specific amount of a fluorescent whitener into the most external part of clear-coat. CONSTITUTION: The typical fluorescent whiteners including stilbene derivatives, styryl derivatives of benzene and biphenyl, bis(benzasol-2-yl) derivatives, coumarin, carbostyril, naphthalimide, dibenzotiophene-5,5-dioxide derivatives, pyrene derivatives and pyridotriazole are used by only one or combined with each other, so long as they have compatibility with a clear-coat mixed with them. The amount of them is 0.3-2wt.% or more of solid resin of the clear-coat, preferable especially about 0.6-0.8wt.% of solid resin, the best is about 0.75wt.%. When the content is set to this condition, a brilliant ball is obtained.</p> |
