摘要 PURPOSE:To lower fuel consumption, by reproducing a catalyst which is included in a rotary heat storage-type heat exchanger in a line for denitration of discharge gases by supplying a discharge gas from a converter wherein the discharge gas contains CO in low concn. in a no-recovery region and not utilized as a fuel. CONSTITUTION:By operation of a recovery valve 32 according to a signal from an analyzer 31, a discharge gas contg. CO with 68-79% concn. from a converter 30 is recovered in a holder 33, and the remaining gas is combusted and diffused. In the case, a discharge gas contg. CO with 20-40% is sucked by a blower 34, stored in a miniholder 35, fed to a catalyst layer 22 included in a rotary heat storage-type heat exchanger 10 in a down stream of an apparatus 13 for denitration, oxidized by a Pt catalyst so as to heat at a temperature >=415 deg.C and reproduce the catalyst.
