PURPOSE:To reduce the tool exchange time by carrying out all the necessary operations such as the turn of an arm, tool holding operation, and a tool chucking force releasing operation on a spindle head side, in interlocking by a same driving source. CONSTITUTION:A tool T is replaced by an arm 6 between a cassette type tool magazine 7 installed onto the side surface of a column 2 and the spindle 11 or 10 of a spindle head 5 which is rotatably installed in inclination by 45 deg. for a slider 4. In this case, all the necessary operations such as the turn of the arm 6, tool holding operation, and the tool chucking force releasing operation on the spindle head 5 side are carried out in interlocking by a same driving source. Therefore, the tool exchange time can be reduced, and the substantial working time can be increased. |
