PURPOSE:To perform loading at high speed by storing in an external auxiliary storage device a designated program preliminarily converted into such a file format as can be set on a main memory and setting the data in the file on the main memory directly as it is at the time of loading. CONSTITUTION:On a computer, a conventional file format is converted to a file format shown in the figure beforehand, and the data is written in the external auxiliary storage device. When the computer processing is performed to load the program, first, a file in which a designated program is stored is opened. Then the computer reads address data 14, and reads out a data size 17 and data 18 for byte portion from an address instructed by a segment 15 and an offset 16 onto the main memory.
