In the case of known connections, two conical flanges are pressed together with a seal, arranged therebetween, via a bracing ring. The novel connection is intended to achieve a high degree of sealing under extreme conditions. Two mutually opposite centring protrusions engage in a positively locking manner into annular grooves of the conical flanges, razor-sharp sealing edges being pressed, following the line of a circle, against the base of the annular groove via said bracing ring.
