PURPOSE:To obtain a flexible laminated plate lined with metal foil at both surfaces thereof which shows good heat resistance by applying polyimide varnish at both surfaces of a flexible core member, drying the same, laminating a metal foil at both surfaces of the same, and heating the same while adding pressure. CONSTITUTION:Polyimide varnish is applied onto the opposite surfaces of a flexible core member, which is then dried and laminated with a metal foil on both surfaces thereof. Then, the laminated core member is heated while it is applied with pressure. Thus, a flexible laminated plate lined with metal at both surfaces thereof is produced economically. The obtained laminated plate has heat resistance, particularly, superior in peel-off strength at high temperature, with less residual internal stress. The core member is a film or a metal foil which is necessary to have high resistance to heat and strength. In case of using a film as the core member, a film of polyimide is desirable. In case of a metal foil as the core member, iron foil, aluminum foil, copper foil, etc., can be employed. The metal foil to be attached onto the opposite surfaces of the laminated member is the same as that of the core member. The polyimide varnish is preferable to be such that forms an adhesive agent layer which is not yet hardened when it is applied onto the core member and dried, and is thermally cured when it is heated while applying pressure. The polyimide varnish has superior resistance to heat and medicines. |
