PURPOSE: To shorten the axial length and make the device be light in weight by limiting the relative movement of the base and the rigid annulus away from each other by the traction force of a flexible traction resistant cable section connected to the base and the rigid annulus arranged in actuating chambers. CONSTITUTION: Actuating chambers A, B are formed by a cup 2, an upper base 4, a resilient annular support wall 6, a rigid annulus 1, a flexible membrane 7 and a dividing wall 8. The base 4 and the annulus 1 are connected by a traction resistant cable section 13. The traction resistant cable section 13 is fixed to the base 4 via a groove 14 and a plate 15, and situated in the annular slot 16 in the outer periphery of the dividing wall 8 and fixed to the annulus 1 respectively. The length of the traction resistant cable section 13 is limited under the maximum permitted deformation of the wall 6 when the base 4 and the rigid annulus 1 move axially away from each other. In this way, it is possible to shorten the axial length, become light and assemble easily. |
