PURPOSE: To remarkably reduce the assembly time and to obtain a quick assembly-line operation by the composition of the silverglass paste consisting of each prescribed amount of silver flake, silver oxide, lead borate glass, a resin, a thixotropy agent, and a solvent and adopting a castor oil with hydrogenation for the thixotropy agent. CONSTITUTION: The paste composition consists substantially of silver flake, silver oxide, lead borate glass, a resin, a thixotropy agent, and a solvent. The content of the silver flake, silver oxide, lead borate glass, resin, thixotropy agent, and solvent with respect to the weight of the composition is respectively 55-75%, 0.5-2%, 10-25%, 0.5-2.0% and 0.5-2.0%. A castor oil with hydrogenation is preferred as the thixotropy agent and a 3-dimensional net structure is easily formed. The structure increases the yield point and prevents dripping during operation and precipitation of particles during storage. The composition of the solvent may be over a wide range but the boiling point of the solvent is required to be 120 200 deg.C. |
