<p>PURPOSE:To stably form a colored layer by forming said layer into two-layered structure consisting of the layer which fills stepped recesses and layer which flattens the same at the point of the time prior to the formation of the coloring layer. CONSTITUTION:The colored layer 23 colored to, for example, red is formed on a transparent resin layer 17 opposite to a photosensitive part 12a and a transparent resin layer 24 is formed thereon over the entire part. The colored layer 23b colored to blue is formed on the layer 24 opposite to the photosensitive part 12b and a transparent resin layer 24 is formed thereon over the entire part. The colored layer 23c colored to green opposite to the part 12c and a transparent resin layer 27 covering the entire part are formed thereon. The color solid state image pickup element is thoroughly flattened by another transparent resin layer 17 while the steps are filled by the transparent resin layers 14'a, 14'b, 14'c in the above-mentioned manner. The coloring characteristic is thus stabilized.</p> |
