发明名称 CORRECTION OF MISRECORD IN THERMAL TRANSFER RECORDING
摘要 PURPOSE:To recover a misrecorded image stably, appropriately irrespective of external factors, by a method wherein a material capable of being brought into the state of capable of recovering a misrecorded image through a change in material structure from that at the time of recording is used in a thermally transferable ink layer, and a treatment for causing a change in the material structure in the ink layer used for correction is preliminarily conducted. CONSTITUTION:The physical properties of a thermally transferable ink layer at the time of using the ink layer for recording are set to be different from the physical properties of the ink layer at the time of using the ink layer for correction, and thermal transfer recording and correction of a misrecord are performed by using the same ink layer. A thermal transfer material 35 is heated by a thermal head 34 to cause a change in the material structure at the part 36 at which the material structure can be changed. Meanwhile, the transfer material 35 is fed to face a misrecorded image 32, and the image 32 is fused to the transfer material 35 by heating by a recording thermal head 33. Further, the thermal head 33 is moved in the direction of an arrow, whereby the misrecorded image 32 is released from a recording medium 31, and the misrecorded part can be corrected. This recovering operation can be performed stably and appropriately, irrespective of external factors such as temperature and humidity.
