<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a fuel block valve at a low cost by closing the valve through buoyancy of a float when the water level rises and closing the valve through movement of a bottom board in the direction of a valve hole when a vehicle turns in sideway thereby eliminating a conventional coil spring. CONSTITUTION:A float 21 inserted idly in a valve box 11 and pushes up a valve body 16 through its buoyancy is arranged below the valve body 16 for opening/closing a valve vent 5. A bottom board 26 held movably in axial direction while being guided by the stop foot 12 of the valve box 11 having higher specific gravity than fuel is arranged at the lower section of the float 21. The valve is closed through buoyancy of the float 21 when the liquid level rises, while it is closed through movement of the bottom board 26 toward the valve hole 5 when a vehicle turns in sideway.</p> |
