PURPOSE: To restrict the linear movement of a drive nut beyond a predetermined limit position by engaging the drive nut with a thin elongated arm in a predetermined limit position and separating the drive nut from contacting the two electrical contacts. CONSTITUTION: A screw 18 is rotated and a drive nut 21 is moved to the left linearly by the contact of a source of electrical energy to an electrical motor 15. Along with the movement of the drive nut 21, a shift sleeve 30 is energized, and a gear changing apparatus is moved from the position where the first gear is engaged to the position where the second gear is engaged. However, the drive nut 21 continues to be moved to the left linearly to engage with the thin elongated part 43a' of a second movable electrical contact 43'. When the drive nut 21 is further moved, the second movable electrical contact 43' is pivoted until a single pole, single throw switch 65 is turned on. |
