PURPOSE:To enable a resistor to be provided easily by printing with favorable positional accuracy and make it possible to verify easily the positional accuracy of the resistor, by providing a heat generating resistor through using as references two sets of marking pairs provided, with a predetermined spacing therebetween, on a heat generating substrate simultaneously with electrodes. CONSTITUTION:Two sets of marking pairs 2 are provided at left and right outer edges of both longitudinal ends of a heat generating resistor 3, with a predetermined spacing therebetween. The spacing is slightly greater than the width of the resistor 3, and the resistor 3 in a rectilinear form is provided by printing within the range of the spacing. When electrodes are provided as conductor patterns 4, the pairs of markings 2 are simultaneously provided by using gold (Ag), which is the same material as that for the electrodes. With the marking pairs 2 thus provided at left and right outer edges of both ends of a printing region for providing the resistor 3, when the resistor 3 is so provided as to extend between the two sets of marking pairs 2 without making contact with the marking pairs 2, it is possible to easily set the positional accuracy of the resistor 3 within an allowable error range. Since the marking pairs 2 are left without being covered by the resistor 3, the positional accuracy of the resistor 3 can be verified. |
