PURPOSE:To obtain an optical storage material enhanced in operating temperature by dispersing a porphyrin in a matrix of a phenoxy resin. CONSTITUTION:An optical storage material comprises a porphyrin dispersed in a phenoxy resin. The phenoxy resin is preferably a material of general formula (I), wherein (n) is a number of 80-1,000, particularly preferably, 100-130. The porphyrin is not particularly limited, but in consideration of solubility, dispersibility, film-forming properties or the like, tetraphenylporphyrin is preferred. The concentration of the porphyrin contained in the matrix of the phenoxy resin is preferably 10<-1>-10<-8>mol. per liter of the matrix, and in consideration of solubility, film-forming properties, dispersibility in the matrix, light absorbance, film thickness or the like, a concentration of 10<-2>-10<-4>mol./l is particularly preferable. |
