<p>A support material-antibody-antigen (SMAA) complex for use in vaccination, comprising: (1) a support material capable of being taken up by antigen-presenting cells or attached to antigen-responding cells of the immune system, e.g. Staphylococcus aureus Cowan Strain A or inert beads, (2) antibodies of at least one kind bound to the support material, and (3) immunostimulating antigens of at least one kind directly or indirectly bound to the antibodies. Preferably different antigens of the same infective agent, such as surface and internal proteins of a paramyxovirus, are bound to their specific antibodies.</p> |
