PURPOSE:To allow data values to be replaceably inputted in only variable figures and simplify price printing on price tags or the like by inputting numerical values in figures in the fixed portion of print data before inputting it and performing setting by designating figures in the variable portion. CONSTITUTION:First, a program issue change-over switch 4 is set to PROGRAM, and a blank key 12 is depressed to set, e.g., the first to third figures in a display column 14 to be blank. Then, a ten key 8 is depressed to input a flag, 2, in the fourth figure, and moreover a manual key 10 is depressed to input the second to fourth figures which are variable portions in the eighth to tenth figure columns 13. Then, a check key 11 and the blank key 12 are depressed to complete the program. Next, the ten keys 8 and the manual key 10 are successively depressed to input numerical values in the variable portions, and after calculation in the arithmetic control unit the printer is actuated. When only the last three figures of a price must be changed, only said portions are erased by depressing the manual key 10 and new values are inputted by depressing the ten keys 8. |
