摘要 PURPOSE:To improve evaporating and cooling performance, by providing a liquid guide, which is inclined on the side of each section coil, at a part of the cross section shape of a ring shaped insulating material having permeability of condensed liquid in close contact so as to coat the inner and outer surface of each section coil. CONSTITUTION:The surface on the side of an intermediate side is attached to each of the inner and outer surfaces of each section coil 23 with a bonding agent and the like so that the upper surface and a surface 30B on the short side of each section coil 23 form the approximately same plane. An insulator coated conductor 9 is wound around each section coil 23 in the direction of the diameter. A liquid guide 30 having a guide surface 30A on the long side, which is inclined toward the lower edge of the section coil, is formed. Therefore, condensed liquid 10A, which is sprayed on the upper surface of the uppermost section coil 23A, is divided into a liquid stream 20A, which wets each section coil and flows down in the windings, and a liquid stream 20B, which sequentially flows down to the section coils on the next stages along the upper surface 30B and the guide surface 30A of the liquid guide 30. The insulator coating of each section coil is wetted. Thus the cooling efficiency of the windings is improved with an adequate amount of the condensed liquid.
