PURPOSE:To enhance durability and the adsorbing capacity of protein or the like, by packing a part on a solvent inflow side with particles having high durability and filling the remaining part with particles having excellent adsorbing capacity. CONSTITUTION:A part (a) on a solvent inflow side is packed with particles 16 of a calcium phosphate compound heat-treated at high temp. of 800 deg.C or more in order to receive dissolving action by a solvent or dynamical shock. A part (b) on a side other than the solvent inflow side is packed with particles 15 dried or baked at low temp. to make it possible to keep the adsorbing capacity of protein well. As the calcium phosphate compound, one or more kind of hydroxyapatite and fluoroapatite can be used. For, example, the particles can be prepared by spray-drying a calcium phosphate compound slurry to granulate said compound and subsequently baking the resulting granule but may be prepared by other granulation method. The particles 16 are allowed to pack the part over a length 1/2 or less (a<b) of a column 11 from the inflow side of the solvent. |
