PURPOSE:To connect two optional optical fibers with an easy operation by arranging a freely rotatable light reflecting body so that its reflective surface is directed toward entrance/exit ends of optical fiber arrays and its axial line of the revolving shaft coincides with a segment connecting intersections of optical paths of individual optical fiber arrays. CONSTITUTION:Optical fibers 11a, 11b, 11c- are arranged on the same plane so that their optical paths intersect at one point P1. Similarly, optical fibers 12a, 12b, 12c- are arranged on the same plane so that their optical paths intersect at one point P2, and optical fibers 13a, 13b, 13c- are arranged on the same plane so that their optical paths intersect at one point P3, and optical fiber arrays 11, 12, and 13 are arranged in parallel. Meanwhile, a freely rotatable light reflecting body 21is so arranged that its reflective surface 22 is directed to incidence/exit ends of optical fiber arrays 11, 12, and 13 and its axial line X of thee revolving shaft coincides with a segment L connecting intersections P1, P2, and P3 of optical paths of optical fiber arrays 11, 12, and 13. |
