PURPOSE:To perform efficient rolling with a constant crown ratio and to obtain a product having a good final shape by specifying a value of nominal intermediate roll diameter D1/sheet width B based on a value of nominal work roll diameter DW/sheet width B. CONSTITUTION:As for a six-high rolling mill provided with an intermediate roll bender and an intermediate roll shift, in the case that a value of a nominal work roll diameter DW/sheet width B is <=0.1, a value of a nominal intermediate roll diameter D1/sheet width B is made to be >=0.3 to cover a low rigidity of the work roll. Hence, efficient rolling with a constant crown ratio is performed and a product having a good final shape can be obtained. |
