PURPOSE:To obtain the titled material having a less black spot and high sensitivity and contrast and a high optical density by controlling the coefficient of expansion of a hydrophilic colloidal layer to >=150%. CONSTITUTION:In the silver halide photographic sensitive material in which at least one layer of silver halide emulsion layers is formed on a substrate body, and the emulsion layer or the another hydrophilic colloidal layer contains a hydrazine derivative, the hydrophilic colloidal layer has the coefficient of expansion of >=150%. A gelatin is advantageously used for the binder of the hydrophilic colloid used in the hydrophilic colloidal layer. The method controlling optionally the coefficient of expansion in the hydrophilic colloidal layer lies in the method using various kinds of org. or inorg. gelatin curing agent (single, or the combination thereof). |
