PLOTTING METHOD FOR STROKE CHARACTER

PURPOSE:To omit-undesired processing and to improve the efficiency of processing for a stroke character of small size by regarding no apex of the stroke character and skipping the operation to the process of the next apex in case the corresponding stroke character is smaller than prescribed size. CONSTITUTION:Another mode 4 where the operation is skipped to the next process in case a character displayed on a screen is smaller than prescribed size is used in addition to three types of modes which are given to apex data on conventional stroke characters. The apex data forming each character stores the coordinates and the mode of the relevant apex. In this respect, such an apex that requires no form of a display character even tough it is neglected is previously checked with a character smaller than the prescribed size. Then this apex is designated as the mode 4. As a result, apex processing is omitted in the mode 4 at a plotting process. Thus useless processing is omitted and therefore the processing efficiency is improved.
