PURPOSE:To make easy a weight measurement of a foodstuff and improve a using conveniency of the titled device, by arranging such that a rotary base plate has its axis supported by a resilient member with a weight detecting element in a heting chamber, and the rotary base plate is driven to rotate by means of a magnetic coupling means. CONSTITUTION:Upon a foodstuff 14 being loaded on a cooking table 13 of a rotary base plate 5, a weight W of the foodstuff 14 causes a resilient leaf spring 10 supporting an axis 9 of the rotary base plate 5 to deflect and deform in proportion to the weight W of the foodstuff 14. This magnitude of deformation is utilized by a weight detecting element 26 adapted to vary its electric resistance according to the magnitude of deformation so as to permit a control section to measure the weight W of the foodstuff 14. A memory stores a mutual relation between a weight and a cooking time depending on the type of foodstuff to be cooked, functions to read out a required cooking time in manipulating a cooking selection key for controlling the energization of a magnetron 17. The rotary base plate 5 is driven to rotate via a magnetic coupling of magnets 24 and 25 by a turning movement of a pulley 21. |
